Bronco Zone Lunches

Boise State University’s seasonal pop-up restaurant, featuring the talents of head chef Nathan Child, is now accepting reservations for select Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the fall 2018 semester. This season brings fresh flavors, new and improved vegan entrees, homecoming and holiday menus, plus crowd favorites like the family-style Signature Blue and Orange Salad served with every meal — all for just $12 per person!

Make your reservation by 4:00 p.m. on the day before your next visit. Walk-ins are accepted on a limited basis.

Bronco Zone Lunches are open 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on the following dates this fall 2018 semester. Final seatings begin at 1:00 p.m. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged!

August 29 and 30

Beef Tips and Mushrooms or Orange Marmalade Glazed Chicken served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Montreal Seasoned Green Beans, and Assorted Cupcakes.

Vegan entree is Orange Marmalade Glazed Tofu.

September 5 and 6

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken or Kahlua Pork served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Coconut Maui Rice, Brown Sugar Glazed Roasted Carrots, and Brownies.

Vegan entree is Edamame and Portobello Mushroom Stir-Fry.

September 12 and 13

Sweet Chili Braised Pork or Grilled Mediterranean Chicken served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Cashew Craisins® Rice Pilaf, Grilled Vegetable Platter, and Blondies.

Vegan entree is Roasted Chickpeas, Sun-dried Tomato and Cauliflower Steaks.

September 19 and 20

Smoked BBQ Brisket or Mesquite Grilled Chicken in Mango Salsa served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Corn on the Cob, Green Beans and Bacon, and Assorted Cookies.

Vegan entree is Pulled Jackfruit in BBQ Sauce.  

September 26 and 27

Lemon Pepper Roasted Chicken or Beef Pot Roast served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Baby Baked Potatoes with Crispy Bacon, Brown Sugar Glazed Roasted Carrots, and Assorted Cupcakes.

Vegan entree is Braised Tofu and Root Vegetables.

October 3 and 4

Pulled Pork Sliders with Crispy Onions and Huckleberry BBQ Sauce or Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Sliders with Roasted Pineapple served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Potato Salad, Fresh Fruit Salad, and Brownies.

Vegan entree is Chipotle Black Bean Sliders.

October 10 and 11

Creamy Chicken and Gnocchi or Dijon Honey Glazed Ham served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Roasted Vegetable Pasta Salad, Garden Harvest Ratatouille, and Blondies.

Vegan entree is Edamame Gnocchi in Coconut Milk Curry Sauce.

October 17

Chicken, Peppers, and Onions in a Creamy Marsala Sauce or Beef Pot Roast Sliders served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Roasted Honey Glazed Brussels Sprouts, Wild Mushroom Risotto, and Assorted Cookies.

Vegan entree is Vegetable Napoleon.

October 24 and 25

November 14 and 15 – Thanksgiving Menu

Roasted Turkey with Cranberry Orange Jam or Spiced Ham with Grilled Pineapple served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Creamy Mashed Potatoes with Leeks, Maple Roasted Rainbow Carrots, and Apple or Pumpkin Pie.

Vegan entree is Celebration Roast with Mushrooms and Artisan Grains.

November 28 and 29

Smoked BBQ Brisket or Mesquite Grilled Chicken with Mango Salsa, served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Corn on the Cob, Green Beans and Bacon, and Assorted Cookies.

Vegan entree is Pulled Jackfruit in BBQ Sauce.

December 5 and 6 – Holiday Menu

Braised Beef Short Ribs or Lemon Thyme Rotisserie Chicken served with our Signature Blue and Orange Salad, Baked Potato Bar with all the toppings, Butternut Squash and Kale Sauté, and Cheesecake.

Vegan entree is Braised Tofu and Root Vegetables.

Payment Information

The price of $12 per person includes your entree, sides, dessert, and beverages (water, coffee, iced tea, lemonade, and assorted Coca Cola soda products). Tax is also included in this price.

Payment is accepted on site at the conclusion of your meal. Separate checks are available by request. Cash and all major credit cards will be accepted.

Location and Parking

Bronco Zone Lunches are located on the 3rd floor of the Stueckle Sky Center above Albertsons Stadium, at 1400 Bronco Lane. Please enter through the north elevator tower.

Parking is available at no charge for guests attending Bronco Zone Lunches. From Bronco Lane, enter the west stadium lot directly adjacent to Stueckle Sky Center. Enter your license plate number into the parking kiosk located at the “Gate F” entrance.
